When I see someone use an em-dash in the wild, I think… they get it — professional, sophisticated, sexy — it says to the world “I know things about grammar, but in a fun way.”Alt + 0 + 1 + 5 + 1 for Windows, Shift + Option + - for macOS, and Ctrl + Shift + U + 2 + 0 + 1 + 4 for Linux. It sounds a lot of keys at once, but trust me, it’s worth it.

What’s harder to guess: a long string of numbers or a short string of random uppercase and lowercase letters?
