I was using windows and i wanted to select all files, i tried ctrl+a and it didn’t work, i thought “oh yeah for some reason those shortcuts change based on the language” then i tried ctrl+t and it didn’t work then i went “oh yeah it’s ctrl+e on spanish for some reason”

<sarnold> Harb20: the message “there is no internet connection” seems more like a DNS error than a network error; is the DNS server still running? is the DNS resolution working for the rest of the system?
<harb20> yeah, it’s working fine for everything else, the only computer that’s not working is my server
<sarnold> I’d go hunting through the firewall rules on the server and see if anything jumps out
<harb20> alright, i’ll check
<harb20> the firewall is pretty minimal, i only have it to make sure that my web server can’t be hacked or anything
<sarnold> Harb20: if it is minimal it is probably not worth the trouble :)
<harb20> yeah, that’s why i’m trying to work out where to look
<harb20> i was reading through the network connection settings but it doesn’t say anything about whether it should be using dhcp

In order to provide my readers with more details about “how this project actually works,” I am providing this explanation that I call an informal review.
